Last month we completed the rollout for Hearst Newspapers, seeing over 70 newspaper titles move across to PageSuite’s replica edition solution.

We’re delighted to have publications including The San Francisco Chronicle – the largest newspaper in Northern California and The Houston Chronicle – the largest daily newspaper in Texas, now live with PageSuite!

Hearst had been with their previous vendor for many years so it was key that the transition was smooth for their readers and was also an easy lift for the Hearst team.

During the project, our team worked closely with the teams at Hearst via Slack and held regular web calls, launching editions over four waves to ensure disruption was minimal. This gave teams across all publications the chance to learn the new system and effectively transition their readers onto the new product.

Part of the project also included an API integration with Hearst’s existing subscription solution so that they could continue to manage paywalls and subscriptions across their editions.
